The YSMU “COBRAIN” Center officially opens its doors

The Center was founded in frames of the “Scientific-Educational Center for Fundamental Brain Research” project implemented by the Center for Education programs PIU of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport under the Competitive Innovation Fund “Education Improvement” loan program co-financed by the World Bank. The functioning of the Center will be supported by the EU HORIZON 2020 “Armenia Center for Translational Research on Chronic Neurodegenerative Disorders: A Neuroscience Initiative on Maintaining Healthy Brain Ageing” (COBRAIN), RA Government funded scientific and technical activity infrastructure maintenance and development, research groups and laboratories strengthening projects as well as by YSMU. The technically and methodologically equipped Center will be the cradle for implementing scientific-educational and research ambitions of both under-graduate and post-graduate students. It will be a research incubator for students of all levels as well.
