Lectures by Professor Christoph Gleiter, Doctor of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Tübingen, Germany, were awaited for our researchers and students. During the first lecture, the professor addressed the topic “Essentials of clinical experiments”. He emphasized clinical trial background, accurate data recording, and objective performance of clinical trial investigators. They also talked about the types of clinical trials and compared them.
The second lecture was on “Self-initiated experiments”. Speaking about the purpose and importance of self-initiated clinical trials, Professor Gleiter emphasized the role of clinical pharmacology in them. The professor urged the young researchers to acquire the necessary qualifications and to be more involved in research works, specially in clinical experiments.
