The working days of COBRAIN staff with German partners

The research and administrative staff of YSMU COBRAIN project, under the supervision of the project Coordinator, Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Yenkoyan, spent 5 working days in the partner universities of Germany. The YSMU staff was hosted with a loaded agenda by Lusine Danielyan, Head of Laboratory of Cellular/Molecular Pharmacology at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Eberhard Karls University Tübingen and Matthias Schwab, Head of the Dr Margarete Fischer-Bosch Institute of Clinical Pharmacology. At EKUT the COBRAIN team had an opportunity to visit the Laboratory of Cellular/Molecular Pharmacology, where researchers were invited to get involved in laboratory experiments, have a closer look at the lab documentation procedures. Presentations on the EKUT program of Molecular Medicine, IP protection, management of grants and clinical cases, running of animal facility were delivered. The introduction and the chance of operating the up-to-date fully electronic fluorescence microscope by KEYENCE was an exciting experience for our research team. The COBRAIN team also had an opportunity to discover the scientific technical capacity of Dr Margarete Fischer-Bosch Institute of Clinical Pharmacology through an engaging tour. The specially dedicated personnel willingly shared their experience in the management of research, clinical and translational projects. On the research management level, K. Yenkoyan and the German partners met to discuss new directions of further cooperation about which we hope to hear soon.
