“Financing Opportunities for Eastern European Founders and Researchers Available from the EU” panel discussion

COBRAIN Project Coordinator Konstantin Yenkoyan was invited to participate in the online panel discussion on “Financing Opportunities for Eastern European Founders and Researchers Available from the EU” organized by Armenia Startup Academy. The event was held on June 30th, 7PM and live streamed via Armenia Startup Academy Facebook and Hero House YouTube channels. During the event, the speakers gave an overview of the grant schemes, presented the available support for the founders, spoke about some common mistakes during the application process and shared
practical tips on how to make a “winner proposal”.
The lineup of panelists included:

  • Davit Kartashyan, Project Advisor on Innovation, Startup Support and Clustering for SME Development at GIZ
  • Sander van der Molen – Partner at CIVITTA
  • Konstantin Yenkoyan, Coordinator of Horizon 2020 – COBRAIN Project, Vice Rector for Science of YSMU.

The open-for-all online talk was organized within the framework of Armenia Startup Academy Traction Program which is implemented by Catalyst Foundation and supported by the European Union’s EU4 Business, Technology Development for Armenia project implemented by GIZ. VIVA-MTS also joined the initiative as a corporate partner and supporter.
